A recent car crash on the A38 northbound at Mickleover at 3:50PM caused huge tailbacks that lasted for more than three hours. The crash occurred when a pair of cars collided, with one person suffering a minor back injury. A police spokesman said the carriageway had been closed for a short time.
He
said the problem was made worse when two cars broke down on the
northbound carriageway, one near Little Eaton and the second near
Markeaton Island.
