Famous break dancer George Sampson was present in Derby to turn in the Christmas lights on the weekend of the 15th - 16th. He switched on the lights after a partial switch-on had already taken place in need of Children in Need. The
event was televised on BBC One, with a small amount of the lights being
switched on in advance of the main event for charity. Britain's
Got Talent winner George Sampson resided over the official turning on
where the remainder of the lights were turned on. |
