A meeting will take place in the Peak District of the committee responsible for distributing money to charities and groups in the local areas.
Councillors on the Ernest Bailey Charity Committee will consider applications for grants at a meeting at Matlock Town Hall.
The charity was organised for the inhabitants of Matlock and district, to provide financial help to needy individuals or groups.
Among
application that will be considered at the meeting is one for £400
towards a bench for parents or guardians at a redeveloped play area in
Darley Dale.
A bid for £800 to help fund wider nursing in the Matlock area for Marie Curie Cancer Care will also be debated. |
