Always a popular topic with school children up and down the country, the subject of gyptian history leads to an array of exciting discovers and studies. To support project work at the local Crich Carr CE Infant School a themed day looking at all aspects of Egyptian life. Included was dressing up in Egyptian themed costumes solving problems in the same flavour.
Headteacher
Anne Punchard said: "It was a very enjoyable day, the children learnt a
lot and had fun. They had a choice of whether to dress up or not and
they always rise to the occasion." The event was a great demonstration of how introducing children to a different learning style can help them develop new skills and gain information in mroe effective ways.
The day included classes that will result in an Egyptian styled Christmas concert at the end of the year.
