A pony was rescued when it became stuck in a Derbyshire river on Saturday morning. Ilkeston
fire station crews were called to the site of the accident on the River
Erewash next to Monks Close, Ilkeston, just before 8:00AM. Fortunately
the combined efforts of firefighters and the pony's owner were able to
entice the animal from the river and back to safety. |
