Bakewell is situated in Derbyshire and the Peak District. It is a small, but beautiful market town situated on the River Wye, which is crossed by a 13th century 5 arched bridge that still remains open to traffic.

The architecture in the area is outstanding and Bakewell is ideally situated if you want to visit Buxton which is a short drive away. or perhaps visit Chatsworth House (also known as the palace of the peaks), which has featured in some very popular dramas.
