Buxton
is set to pay host to the Bishop of Derby, Alastair Redfern, visits to
discuss key issues relating to the Church of England. The Bishop will
meet various representatives from the deaneries in the Diocese.
Four
meetings will take place that will allow the Bishop to share his vision
for the future and give parishes an opportunity to share their
thoughts on the work and mission of the Church in their area.
The
Bishop said "I am
organising four evenings. Each deanery will be invited to one of these
evenings and I will be able to share my thoughts for the future and
listen to what is being said in the parishes."
The Bishop will reflect further on his findings over the Advent period in the lead-up to Christmas. |
