Description Acquired in early 2010 by Jonathan & Joanne Tindall, owners of the nearby Chequers Inn at Froggatt, The Sir William has undergone a complete transformation. Set in the centre of the village with easy access to all the sights and scenery the Peak District has to offer. The seven en-suite bedrooms are now spacious, comfortable and characteristically furnished, each having its own individual personality. Our three Superior rooms have fantastic views over the valley. Chef Andy Clark offers innovative cuisine using locally sourced fresh produce. A wide menu of European and traditional British dishes is complimented by a great wine list and real ales. General Manager Stephen Elliott looks after the day to day operation of The Sir William. The garden terrace enjoys wonderful panoramic views across acres of unspoilt woodland leading right up to Froggatt Edge. The Sir William is open for lunch and dinner every day, serving all day on Sundays. Table reservations are not always necessary but advisable. We look forward to welcoming you to the Peak District.
