The Inn is located on the edge of the village of Hathersage looking down the Hope Valley, the gateway to the beautiful Peak Park This old coaching inn has been welcoming visitors for centuries, An ideal base to explore the many different attractions the Peak District has to offer. With Chatsworth House, Ladybower Dam (of Dambusters fame) and the Blue John caves only a few minutes away, Its hard to believe a 15 minute drive over the moor and you are in the centre of Sheffield.

Facilities
The Bar Our bar, with its open fire and friendly staff, caters for your every need. With a service dedicated to the customer and an atmosphere little changed for over a century. We have a great selection of traditional cask ales, Timothy Taylors Landlord and Black Sheep run along side two local fine ales.
Meals are served every day from traditional homemade pies to fabulous fish and chips, with a daily chefs special board using fresh local produce. On Sundays a popular roast Carvery is served from 12 till 3pm.
The Hope Valley An almost endless list of outdoor pursuits is within easy reach of the Millstone, picturesque walks will take you to the caverns and castles, with Chatsworth House and other sites of historic or scenic interest close to hand.
Well stocked reservoirs and rivers are available to the dedicated angler and for the more energetic there is golf, climbing, horse or cycle riding. The Hope Valley has something for everyone. And a short distance away, the gliding club offers the means to view its beauty from the air.
Accommodation
A variety of accommodation is available, from single bedded to family rooms. Each offers the highest standard of décor and comfort, with hand-made furnishings plus the added convenience of direct-dial phone, colour television, tea and coffee facilities en suite bathroom and power showers. Hairdryers, iron and ironing boards. For your convenience we also have wireless internet connection available through out the hotel.
Guest staying with us also have complementary membership to the local gym in the village. There is also an open air heated swimming pool, restricted to seasonal opening times please ask for details.

Booking Terms and Conditions All rooms are subject to availability. Weekend breaks are for a minimum of 2 nights including Saturday. All bookings must be confirmed by letter, fax or by credit card number. Cancellation of a booking must be made no later than 24 hours prior to the due date of arrival,or a fee may be charged. Non-arrivals will be charged for the first night's accommodation @ £40.00. Dinner bookings should be made separately, as tables are not automatically reserved for residents. Smoking - In the interest of hygiene and safety, our guests bedrooms are non-smoking. Dogs - Sorry no pets are permitted in guests bedrooms except by special arrangement with the Manager. Payment - By Cash, Cheque, Visa, Switch, Mastercard or Delta.
