The Old Mill Wheel is a free house situated 15 minutes from the M42 and 20 minutes from East Midlands airport on the A514 in Hartshorne village. Whether on business or pleasure Jackie, Colin and all their team assure you of a warm welcome when you visit our unique country bar and restaurant. The focal point is the truly impressive working mill wheel at 24ft dating back to the 18th century, one of the biggest of it's type still surviving in the country, which can be admired in it's full glory as you enter the bar.
The newly refurbished restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and provides full waitress service so that your visit to us is as enjoyable and relaxing as possible.
Great for the summer!! Al fresco dining area, situated at the rear of the building where in the afternoons it's a must to come and relax in the sun. A series of BBQ's will be run throughout the summer months. (Please contact us for more details).
Our 2nd floor restaurant is available for conferences or meetings where refreshments can be provided. The idyllic country surroundings, comfortable lounge/bar area and extensive free onsite parking combine to create just the right impression with your delegates.
