A stunning street market with a Dickensian theme will take place in Buxton on Saturday in the Octagon at the Pavilion Gardens.
Colourful
stalls and
costumed sellers and street entertainment will be taking place. Around
50 stalls are expected including craft stalls, gifts and Christmas
goodies.
It
raises
funds for the High Peak Mayor's Charity Committee (Buxton), as
well as for the local groups and organisations who have various stalls.
Entertainment will include Father Christmas, Burbage and Fairfield
Bands.
It is open from 10.15am to 4.15pm. Admission is £1.50 for adults, 50p for children and concessions 75p. |
