Description Windy Harbour Farm Hotel is situated on the outskirts of Glossop, Derbyshire on the B6105, with commanding views over the Peak District. We offer accommodation on a B&B or half board basis or a pitch on our caravan/camping site. We also have a function room, restaurant and marquee for private hire and can cater for all types of parties or conferences. We are also licensed for civil weddings. Location Graham and Julie look forward to welcoming you. Windy Harbour Farm Hotel is situated on the B6105, approximately 1 mile outside Glossop town centre. We are on the edge of the Peak District, set amongst stunning scenery overlooking Glossopdale, Longdendale and Woodhead providing easy access to the countryside. Glossop train station is less than a mile away with regular services to and from Manchester. Accommodation We can offer double or twin rooms on a B&B or half board basis. Each room has stunning views over the surrounding countryside. All have en-suite facilities, complimentary tea and coffee tray, television, clock radio and a hair dryer. Licensed bar open to residents. Evening meals available by prior arrangement. Tariff Double/twin (B&B) @ £60 per room Single occupancy (B&B) @ £35. Functions We can cater for all kinds of functions. Birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, christenings, funerals. Whatever your celebration, with our restaurant, function room and our marquee hire you can be sure we can provide the perfect venue. We are also licensed for Civil Weddings. Civil Weddings Windy Harbour Farm Hotel offers the perfect location for your wedding. We have two rooms licensed for Civil Weddings, holding upto 46 and 120 people respectively. We can tailor your day to include the service, wedding breakfast, buffets and evening receptions. We offer the use of our restaurant, function room and can also offer marquee hire for that extra special occasion. With breathtaking views over Longdendale what better backdrop for your photographs. Conference Facilities The main function room can accommodate up to 60 people in theatre style or 30 people in boardroom format. We can provide presentation equipment including overhead projector, slide projector and flip chart. We also have a dedicated phone line for internet connection if required. As well as the main conference room we can provide additional rooms for break out sessions. We can also arrange team building activities including clay pigeon shooting. Camping and Caravanning The site has terrific views with walks from your doorstep into the surrounding area. Facilities include electric hook up and elsan disposal point. Guests also have full use of our bar facilities. Breakfast and evening meals available by booking. Rallies by prior arrangement. The site also has various breeds to keep the children (and the adults...) entertained. Things To Do We are situated on the edge of the Peak District with easy access to the countryside. There are walks from the doorstep. With easy access to many of the Peak District Tourist attractions you will never be far away from somewhere to visit. Chatsworth, Speedwell Cavern, Blue John Mines, Chestnut Centre are all within easy reach. If it's a quiet, get away from it all, break or holiday you want then you need look no further.
